How to IU...Welcome
Learning How to IU starts with New Student Orientation and then Welcome Week! Welcome Week activities begin the Wednesday before classes start and include some of IU's best traditions. Events like Culture Fest, Traditions & Spirit, and more will make your first week at IU memorable and help you get to know people.

How to IU...Sports
There is nothing that compares to the experience of joining thousands of screaming fans at an IU basketball game. But, basketball is not the only game in town. With 24 varsity teams, you can cheer on the Hoosiers all year long! HooHooHoosiers!

How to IU...Traditions
Shaking the hand of our most beloved president is just one of our IU's many traditions and you have four years to learn them all. Pretty soon, you'll be wearing cream and crimson, getting ready for the Little 500, dancing for 36 hours at Dance Marathon, and singing "Indiana, Our Indiana" in Assembly Hall.
-

How to IU...Style
Don't just shout your spirit, wear it! Candy striped pants, hoodies, scarves, t-shirts...it's your choice. Get your cream and crimson gear at the IU Bookstore.
-

How to IU...Bucket List
Lying on the ground at the Art Museum and watching the lights change (at night!), singing the IU fight song at Traditions and Spirit, and relaxing by the fireplace in the IMU are just a few of the things you have to do at IU before you graduate. If you really want to know "how to IU," print out the IU Bucket List. You can even get started at New Student Orientation - it's simply stuff you must do at IU.

How to IU...B-town
Shop along Kirkwood. Catch a show at the Buskirk. Eat Thai on 4th street. Grab some greens at the Farmers Market. Do...well, there's so much that the rest is up to you!
